Wedding Toast Speech - Best Man Point of View

            It's always such a special occasion to see two people who have truly been through it all – finally tie the knot. I know that as best man, I am supposed to make some cheesy speech about our past and how Nick and Nicole will be together for eternity, or I could simply embarrass and reveal ridiculously embarrassing stories about Nick - but I thought I'd change it up a little and talk about the bride and how amazing she is. It feels like just yesterday when Nick and I were just in 7th grade riding our bikes to school and talking about how we want our lives to be perfect when we're older and we want to marry the perfect girls, I didn't realize until recently that we're not so perfect ourselves and we'd be lucky to even convince a girl to marry us. (pause for laugh) .
             Nicole – where do I start? You are an amazing person, you truly are. I can't count how many times Nick and I have come back to your home drunk out of our minds and you've made sure both of us have water and fall asleep comfortably. Not only do you make sure that you're a kind and loving fiancé well I guess wife now you are a wonderful person for caring about all of Nick's friends – including myself – and not wanting to kick us out of your house every other night. (pause for laugh).
             I know it's no walk in the park being with this guy but one thing I know is that he has never talked about anyone the way he talks about you, he has never loved anyone the way he loves you. I have watched him grow from that obnoxious 7th grade kid on a bike, into a man because of you. He found himself and his self worth because of you Nicole. He found the meaning of loyalty and true love. .
             Nick, when we were talking about finding ourselves the most perfect girls to settle down with, we were young kids that had no idea what life had in store for us. But look at you, you did find your perfect girl and she will be by your side forever.
