The Struggles of the Great Depression

The Great Depression started in late of October 1929 and in some countries didn't end until World War II. Most countries suffered the hardest in the mid 1930's and was considered to be a worldwide economic depression. This depression not only affected the poor but it also affected the rich. The Great Depression made personal income, tax revenue, and all prices and profits decrease by more than 50% in most countries. Construction Companies halted all projects, major farming industries suffered losing over 60% of earnings. In the result of this loss, jobs depreciated around the world. It became a struggle to survive and in turn cause an epic raise of homeless individuals searching for any type of employment to help their families in any way they could. Not only did the adults suffer butt he children just graduating from high school suffer tremendously as well. .
Many students who graduated and received their diplomas were often allowed to continue one more year of education before actually having to leave their educational institution, mainly, for the fact that many couldn't afford to attend college. With the Great Depression being at its highest impact, many knew what type of life was ahead of them. Most of the students who couldn't afford to attend college, knew that eventually, there would come time to take the path of dealing with the shame of disappointing their parents when trying to start their own lives. As a result, it would lead to them wondering to different districts around the country in search of employment. Many were just trying to prolong the inevitable. Most were trying to attempt staying young for as long as possible, knowing that they were not ready to face the long hard road a head of them.
It almost seems like a domino affect takes place in this situation. For when the Great Depression took place, the majority of the homeless were young or grown men all with the same feeling, the feeling of being a burden to their own families.
