The Conflicted Life of an Alcoholic

When William was 12 years old he discovered alcohol. In time William became an alcoholic trying new drinks when his parents weren't around or paying attention to him. He would drink out of his moms' liquor bottles and fill it up with water to make it look like he didn't take any. He loved it when his parents would drink so he could ask to have some of their drink. When he turned 18 he moved in with some friends and they bought alcohol all the time. Now he is married and the alcohol is ruining his life and his family's life. Alcohol kills and ruins people's life. .
He would go to parties every weekend and drink all night long. The next day he would have a hangover and to cure it he would do "hair of the dog". That means drink more to make himself feel better. This carried on most of his life. He is what you would call a binge drinker. He would drink from Friday through Sunday. He would even call in sick on Monday because he felt too sick to go to work. This resulted in him getting fired from his job. He would call in sick with false reasons. Like his dog getting hit by a car, he himself getting into an accident, his son getting knocked unconscious (on his first day at a new job) or his car breaking down. Just to name a few. .
Now William has no job. His wife works from home and she got him a job at the same company doing phone sales. He stops working from time to time because he is too drunk to get out of bed and make his calls. He then will sober up but then realize he is being treated differently by his family and manager because of the poor choices he is making about alcohol. So he starts to drink again. His manager has given him many chances and is patient but his too will eventually end up with him out of another job.
William has now decided to try rehab. He was in a facility for 30 days. He "thought" he was doing well and was released. The day after he got out, he started drinking again.
