Origin of Speices


            To believe in god or not to believe in god, that is the question? For generations people have been coming to America, land of the free, home of the brave. To have the freedom and the right to choose what ever it is they want to believe. This right was also Mr. Lambert's individual choice, whether it was right or true was up to Mr. Lambert. .
             Charles Darwin wrote his theory of evolution 1859, which challenged beliefs about the creation of life on earth, caused a storm of controversy. After many, many years, is still causing controversy. Darwin wrote "The great principle of evolution stands up clear and firm when these groups of facts are considered in connection with others, such as the mutual affinities of the members of the same group, their geographical distribution in past and present times, and their geological succession. It's incredible that all these facts should speak falsely." .
             In Charles Darwin's writings, it does not make any mention of him being an atheist, but he does touch on the subject of god. He wrote "I"m aware that the conclusions arrived at in this work will be denounced be some as highly irreligious, but those who denounce them need to show why it is more irreligious to explain the origin of man as a distinct species by descent from some lower form, through the laws of variation and natural selection, than to explain the birth of the individual through the laws of ordinary reproduction. The birth both of the species and of the individual are equally parts of the grand sequence of events, which our minds refuse to accept as the result of blind chance." .
             .
             As a result of Mr. Lambert studying this evolution, he changes his mind about god and chose to believe in Darwin's theory. After reading it myself, even I had to consider the possibilities. This will not change my views on god or the creation of man from a religious standpoint, but I can better understand the way Mr.
