Euthanasia - Care, Not Killing

All around the world people are trying to legalize euthanasia, claiming that one deserves to die a peaceful death even if they're giving a group of people the right to kill. The problem is that many countries have legalized euthanasia and many countries are in the process of legalizing it. Some groups believe in euthanasia because they don't have a clear explanation of what exactly euthanasia is, and how it affects the public. Euthanasia, or assisted suicide, is when a physician kills a patient using a lethal injection, with the patient's consent. Euthanasia wasn't a major issue back then, but nowadays the problem is growing since its being legalized in many countries such as: Australia, Canada, India, United States, Mexico and New Zealand. Every patient that wants euthanasia to be practiced on them has their own reasons, but the most common causes of euthanasia are unbearable pain, vulnerability and pressure from family or friends. This issue not only affects patients, but also families, friends and physicians. Many may believe that this problem can't be solved and that death is the answer, but that's where they're wrong. Palliative care is the answer, not killing.
Care Not Killing is a British organization established in 2010 that opposes euthanasia. Care Not Killing's main mission is to promote more palliative care. They also work on ensuring that laws against euthanasia are not weakened or changed and they also work on influencing the public opinion against euthanasia. Promoting palliative care is the best and one of the few solutions for euthanasia because of its functionality, operational feasibility and as well its social and cultural acceptance.
In order to judge whether palliative care is a functional solution or not there are many factors to consider. Functionality is the organization's ability address the problem's causes and to see if palliative care is the solution for euthanasia.
