Violent is when I intentionally make it as the main goal, and I want to harm people in any forms. For example, sports don't have violence because violence behavior means the player will be out of the field by the judges, but aggressive behavior/play style is acceptable. These two types of behavior are different in most cases and should be stated clearly when one of them relates with scientific results.
Most parents always worry about games that contain aggressive contents will negatively affect children's thoughts. That may be backward; it could be their children who are violent or mischievous as their original personality and they want violent games for satisfaction.
