Interviews are necessary because it provides the company to get to know you better; also for you to know exactly how to prepare yourself. The Bootcamp provides you with good information to know about how to get ready for pre-interview and after the interview. It also allows you to show respect to the company without being penalized for your act. My experience at the bootcamp was great I got to learn a lot of stuff I never learned when I'd go on an interview. Although some of the things they said at the bootcamp I've heard already. It really opened my eyes and figured out all the things that I never knew about companies. While writing down my notes I noticed how important it is to know what you have to do before interviews and after. The bootcamp also gave some good tips and show you exactly how you have to go about it. He also said to be yourself at a interview and I mean for me It's extremely hard to do that if you don't know the person who's interviewing you.
The event change my perspective on how to approach a interview in the right way. also changed me by the way he said that the companies dont even know what there doing. Which that kind of ease me up a little bit and made me think about how much easier a interview could be. Always be yourself when it comes to the interview because they want to know you. He also said don't act like someone that you aren't because your going to regret it. I've done that once at my previous job and didn't really know who I was anymore. I totally agreed with what he said and most definitely won't do that again.
I learned that always have something to talk about but don't lie about something you do when really it's not true. Make sure your resume has no grammars, customized for the job, Bullet list should be 51% of the page. On my resume I never had it like that but after the bootcamp I made sure I changed the whole thing. Have the format in a PDF because of the font.
