The Reactions of Eggs in Different Liquids

Aim: How many cracks do 4 eggs get in 4 different juices? This aims reasonable because we can count the cracks of different juices in eggs. Also there is a reaction happening because the shell of the egg cracked.
Hypothesis: If person A puts an egg in different liquids then there will be some crack because the juices react with the egg's shell. This is true because then the experiment would fail, but we have proved it. We haven't finished the experiment because we needed 2 days for the experiment to be completed.
The independent variable is putting the egg inside the different juices, because that is the cause of the experiment. If we wouldn't have done this then the reaction would fail and also we could have an experimental error, just because we didn't put the egg in the liquids. The dependent the variable is the egg getting cracked. The effect of putting the eggs in the liquids is the dependent variable. What was the effect of putting the eggs in the liquids? The egg getting cracked. The controls are that there should be nothing poured in the experiment while happening. Also the cups should be covered with aluminum foil so they don't run out of gas. The temperature should be room temperature. The eggs should be fresh. To make the experiment less dirty we boiled the eggs so when we put them in a safe place (Ms.Michaela's room) they won't crack. It is very important to put the eggs in the cup without cracking them because then you will have one more crack that didn't happen from the reaction. If the temperature is higher than there will be more bacteria so there will be more cracks because the bacteria will damage the egg shell. Also the control group was the eggs that weren't used (the eggs that are still in the box). Because those eggs aren't used yet and we might use them in future labs. Our experimental error was that we didn't accurately count all the cracks. What I can do to lower the experimental errors is to check every egg with your lab partner.
