The aspects of leaders' criteria are based on their loyalty to the organization, loyalty is considerable factor and a leader is recognized as giving a behavior model for their subordinate. Americans tend to be a democracy, understanding ideas or opinions from anyone and tolerate the freedom of expression. Besides, they do not require a lot of rules compared to Japan, which has more roles in their society. For example, in the workplace, being a leader is based on a person's achievement. As long as the person have sufficient ability and capability due to the period of working in the company.
