Behind Barbra Streisand

            Barbra Streisand is not just an ordinary celebrity, she is extra ordinary in almost everything that she does. With her determination and angelic soprano voice on top of her remarkable talent in acting. She is known to be one of the best singers and actors known. She might not have been as known if it was not for her inspiration, Tony Bennett who was top notch in vocals and acting. He has also made number one on the billboards with his miraculous vocal talent. Barbra Streisand was born April 24, 1942 in Brooklyn New York. She didn't attend college instead she moved to Manhattan and worked as a cabaret singer. Her Broadway debut lead to a recording contract and a long series of gold records.              When Barbra Streisand was only 15 months old her father passed away with an epileptic seizure. Barbra Streisand was raised with a single mother and her brother. After a while things started getting tuff for her family and they had to move in with her grandparents so that they would not be alone.
             At the age of 15 Barbra Streisand met Anita and Alan Miller at the Cherry Lane., Theatre which was Greenwich Village. Barbra ended up negotiating an arrangement with the couple that would benefit her extremely well.
