How the Loch Ness Monster Got Her Name

A long time ago in the forest of Miram, Jamaica sat a wondrous little creature; her name was Nessie. Nessie had friends and was just like any other creature in the forest, except Nessie didn't have any brothers and sisters; She didn't even have a mom or dad. Nessie was all alone in what she saw as a big world. Her friends helped her through it as best they could. It was "Halloween Eve" when Nessie got together with her best friend Allen the monkey; they were talking about their mud masks they would put on as face paint and the silly tricks they would play on their other friends. Allen begins to ask Nessie if she'd ever heard the story about the Loch Ness Monster. "Scary stories don't suit well with me." Nessie said. Allen insisted that she give it a try for the Holiday's sake. Allen proceeds to tell her a gruesome story of a monster in Dawning Swamp that Nessie lives near. This story has heart wrenching moments and gruesome endings for most creatures; Nessie was scared. That night on Nessie's way home she made sure to steer clear of Dawning Swamp and to forget that story by morning. .
The next morning came about and Nessie was all sorts of excited for Halloween and the time to be spent with her friends. She walked over to the town meeting held in the center of the forest; they were handing out tickets to the festive walk that night with everyone's masks on. She finds Allen and after the meeting they meet up with some friends for dinner. Over the course of their meal Allen asks Nessie if she recalled the story from the night before. Of course by this time Nessie had forgotten all about that horrific story and had no intentions on going back to it. All of their friends wanted to know what he was talking about. Allen begins to tell the story once again. As Nessie is listening and trying to not lose her appetite she can't help herself; Nessie is just as scared as the first time.
