While most of these truths were major issues on the terrible conditions workers faced day to day, some proved these factories are helpful to the countries they were in. The use of sweatshops is all over the world by different countries but the US based companies may be one of the largest abusers. Once this was brought about to the public, there was much controversy which split peoples opinions in many ways. Some were outraged and said it must be stopped at once. Others saw it as a great way to expand production cheaply and to help developing countries grow. There were some who said it is a great idea, but that there should be more regulations to the system.
