The Long-Term Effects of Obesity


            Obesity is one of a hot topic in American society and also in other countries. In nowadays, most people are too busy to realize the danger of over eating unhealthy foods and lack of exercise. It is important to notice that eating is one of the most relevant things to consider in everybody's life. The three main effects of obesity are diet, lack of education, and lifestyle in peoples' life. The problems with obesity could lead many people to unhealthy lifestyles and dead. One of the main causes in obesity is diet. When people eat more calories than they should eat or their body require, their body's tissues increase to obesity. As a result, their body starts developing a serious deadly disease such as diabetes, heart disease, and some cancers. Moreover, fast food items and junk foods contain more diet than healthy food. Eating too much or eating the wrong foods could lead us to gain weight and raise of obesity. For example, when people go to buffet all they think about is they should eat as much as they can and because of many varieties of foods, they eat the wrong foods. In addition, because of it is too easy to choose unhealthy foods and too difficult to choose healthy foods many people developed unhealthy lifestyles and promote obesity.
             Another major cause of obesity is lack of education. A lack of health education makes many people to choose unhealthy eating decisions that will affect in gain weight. Moreover, if the school or parents do not teach good eating habits to children, they will have lack knowledge about good nutrition and requirement of diet for their body. Also, because of most children doesn't know how to read nutrition facts and ingredient labels on the foods items they choose unhealthy foods. According to the study of obesity researcher, many obese teenager who trying to lose weight facing a lot of health problems due to lack of education. These teenagers might not know how to try to lost weight in a healthy way so they cause more health problems such as eating disorder.
