Lions and Excellent Militarists

Throughout human history, there have been many excellent leaders around the globe. According to Alexander the Great, who is considered one of the greatest military geniuses of all times, "I am not afraid of an army of lions led by a sheep; I am afraid of an army of sheep led by a lion" (n.d.). He stated the great importance of an outstanding leader. A decent leader can make significant difference of an army, a war, or even the whole world. Nevertheless, among all these great leaders, Napoleon Bonaparte and Adolf Hitler were just as essential as the leader lions of an army. Many people might think that they are completely different in many perspectives. However, they both have features in common, especially their personalities, military talents, and loyal generals.
What most wonderful militarists had in common is that they almost all had impressive goals, and it was their great ambitions that gave them the desire and motivation to achieve their dreams. So did Napoleon and Hitler. They were both so extremely ambitious that Napoleon wanted to invade and occupy the whole Europe, and Hitler desired to exterminate the Jews and dominate the entire world. As for Napoleon, his special personality drove him from a poor family in a small island of Corsica to the power of Paris, and even made him long for more. Hitler was also from a poor family, but he devoted himself to the career of rejecting the authority of Austria-Hungary. His early interest in German nationalism soon became his strong motivation to fight for Germanism, which is the spirit of German people. Because of their ambition for more, Napoleon and Hitler had done and achieved so much that most human beings had never thought about at that time. Additionally, their ambitious and aggressive personalities were one of the most vital factors, which led to their epic experience.
Another similarity between these two historical figures is their military talent, their special skill or technique to help them triumph.
