Short Biography of Frida Kahlo

I was born on July 6th, 1907 in my parents' house. At least that's what it says on my birth certificate. I am from Mexico. I'm a well-known painter and I made many portraits. Some of my works even contain stories. For example, I painted "The Suicide of Dorothy Hale." My father and I were very close. My mother and Father had four children and I am the third. .
I have two half-sisters and no brothers. As a young girl I remember playing many sports including boxing. I remember when I first met my husband. I always said I would marry him one day. I even told my friend while he was working on a mural. His name is Diego Rivera. He supported my artistic ability. My parents support my ability as well. Our relationship was never perfect though. My mother never approved of our relationship. When married we traveled a lot. .
We both have affairs and were divorced. Neither of us tried to hide our affairs. I was open with my sexuality as well. I shouldn't have to hide I like women and men. My husband knew about my affairs. He just didn't mind the women, but the men bothered him. It bothered me when Diego Rivera was involved with sister. That is what led to our divorce. .
After the divorce we got back together and were soon remarried. Around the time we got divorced I made a painting which I called "The Two Fridas." We didn't even share the same home in our second marriage. He was not my only love, because I was in love with a gang leader before I seen him again. I believe it was fate to see Diego again. My works were shown in Paris and Mexico. I met some of my best friends in Paris. Also they were shown and sold in New York. During my life I have faced may heath issues.
I also suffered deep depression, because I couldn't have children and was betrayed. I experienced two miscarriages during my life. I died in 1954, but my paints still grew in fame. Some say my death was from a natural cause and other say I committed suicide.
