Living My Dream by Climbing K2


            Learning a new task is something really difficult, therefore it was the most difficult thing to convince my parents to learn how to climb a mountain. Climbing a mountain is a really hard thing to do which requires a lot of physical training and a lot more things. The most important thing in mountain climbing is to create a really good balance in team work, and to coordinate with your partner. I was always afraid of heights, but I was excited to do something, adventurous, and determined to learn this skill. I also thought it would be good exercise and help me to become physically stronger. What I didn't know was that learning how to climb a mountain would also make me a more confident person. After completing my training and climbing several mountains almost after 5 years of training, my trainer suggest me that I should climb mountain K2. .

             K2, located on the Pakistan-Chinese border, is the 2nd highest mountain in the world; Pakistan's highest mountain; and the world's 22nd most prominent mountain. Its Elevation is  28,253 feet (8,612 meters) and Prominence is 13,179 feet (4,017 meters) its Location is  Karakoram Range, Pakistan/China, Asia and Coordinates is  35°52′57″ N 76°30′48″ E. I was 22 years old. I was so thrilled about this adventurous trip but at the same time I was worried about how my parents would react. Being a Pakistani parents they are conservative and think a lot before sending me alone to any trip. When I shared the idea with my parents, my family's reaction were not really good my dad instantly refused.
             'Have you gone crazy,' 'you're not strong enough,' 'you're going to die, said,' said Dad. Add more dialogues .
             I tried a lot to get permission but they were stubborn on their decision. I had always wanted to go, especially because the mountain was in the region of my birth place.
