Novel Summary - The Kite Runner

Many people have different personalities, backgrounds such as cultural differences and come from many places that build up to have a good friendship with each other. Friendship is a state of mutual trust and support between each other. Just like in the book Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini. Many characters build a bond with each other and overcome and help one another to overcome many obstacles throughout their lives. In the novel many characters reveal many forces such as true bravery, loyalty and fear. All these forces make each character strong as a person.
First, Hassan who was a Hazara showed bravery throughout the book with the help and courage that Amir gave him, Hassan was scared to be friends with anyone else who didn't have the same background as him because he thought people would discriminate him and not treat him right. "Its just a Hazara ; Assef said " ( Hosseini 75). Hazara were looked down at, they were treated poorly. It didn't matter what others did to them or said about them but Hassan realized that he shouldn't care of what people thought of him and stand up for his own beliefs. He stood up for the Taliban and basically sacrificed his life for them. Hassan always remained loyal to his friend Amir no matter what circumstance they were going through or have already gone through. For example Hassan promised Amir that he would return the blue kite that he won at the tournament back but Assef wanted it but Hassan wouldn't give it to him and he says "Amir agha won the tournament and I ran this kite for him. I ran it fairly. This is his kite" ( Hosseini 77). Hassan sacrifices his life to Amir to keep the friendship and loyalty that they have between each other.
Baba another character in the story shows bravery as well he shows that he is loyal and cares about people. Amir says "Sometimes, I think everything he did, feeding the poor on the streets, building the orphanage, giving money to friends in need, it was all his way of redeeming himself" ( Hosseini 316).
