Short Story - Hallows Eve Love

One Hallows Eve at the annual Halloween Party there was a "Minion" and a "Seahawk" that locked eyes. They were in disguise and attracted at first sight. The night was long the time was good, dancing, talking and learning each other's lives. The connection was unbearable and the feelings were mutual. Not to long after midnight it was time for the Seahawk to make her way home. Unfortunately, the identity was a mystery and she left worried she would never know who the minion of her dreams was. Crying herself to sleep that night, letting true love slip through her fingers she awoke with a new outlook that if it was meant to be he would find a way to make contact. She continued on her day to day schedule and a week had gone by no contact was made. She began to lose hope. Just then a letter came in the mail addressed to the Seahawk, she had a small chuckle and opened it. The letter read: "To the Seahawk that made my night, you are an amazing person and I can't get you off my mind. I searched high and low for ways to contact you in hopes that we could reconnect. I feel like this could be just the beginning of something special and a beautiful life to come. Not only did I have a good time with you, I never want it to end. If I have contacted the right Seahawk and the feelings are mutual please give me a response via mail, email, or phone. Look forward to hearing from you." That week was a small price to pay for that very humbling letter. She quickly gave the minion a call and they were both speechless at the thought that this was meant to be. No more than two dates later did they confirm their love was real for each other. They were both blessed that this love only comes once in a lifetime and it was something to cherish. Next was the step where two homes becomes one and the Seahawk was moving in. The next years went by so fast, happy as could be living life together and for each other they knew it couldn't get much better in this life.
