But people with negative outlooks on their jobs, are hopeless as far as finding fulfillment and pleasure in what they do. People's negative outlook on their "agonizing" jobs causes them to look only for the negative things and reasons why they should be doing something else instead of finding the positive things about their job that makes them happy. It is more common to hear someone say, "Kill my boss? Do I dare live out the American Dream" (Homer Simpson), instead of saying, "Early to bed, early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise" (Benjamin Franklin Pg 678). It's sad that people quote America's icon of disgruntled workers, Homer Simpson, more than they do a workaholic like Benjamin Franklin. People that usually have a negative outlook on their occupation tend to also suffer from laziness due to being unmotivated to accomplish any "work" oriented goal. Instead, they look for the surefire quick and easy way to warp themselves to the final goal that they have set for themselves at the end of the road. Therefore, one must realize that false preconceptions often bring on negative outlooks. .
             The other ten percent of people, who have a positive outlook on work, will often if not always find the positive in their occupation. This is in and of itself why outlook is key to finding out what one will choose to do for an occupation for the rest of their life. The person with a positive outlook on their work is still entitled to have their complaints and gripes about their job. The difference is that they will still be able to find the things about their occupation that make them happy, that they have learned, or that they will try and find elsewhere. The positive outlook causes a person if anything, to learn that whatever it is that they are doing is not what they want to be doing for the rest of their life. In all situations in life, we all have a choice. Instead of complaining about areas of work like hours or pay, one should view it as Benjamin Franklin did when saying, "A penny saved is a penny earned" (Ben Franklin pg.
