Democratic Presidential Debate: 2015

The debate began on 13th October 2015. There were five nominees for President by the Democrats. Clinton, Sanders, O'Malley, Webb and Chafee. There was a big debate on who won. CNN and BBC viewed Clinton as the winner while The Washington Post, The Chicago tribune and the Fox news viewed Sanders as the winner. Rest were viewed as losers. As compared to the Republican nominees, these nominees are way more serious towards the issue. According to some sources, Republican cast represented a clown car. .
If I had to choose between O'Malley, Webb and Chafee, I'd definitely choose O'Malley. Martin O'Malley is a former Mayor of Baltimore and a former Governor of Maryland. He's a lifelong Democrat. He has 15 years of executive experience. He has a very charismatic personality and I really like the way he started his debate by saying that "most importantly I'm a husband, a father. And, like you, there is nothing we wouldn't do to give them healthier and better lives. He's particular about raising the minimum wage. Passing marriage equality, comprehensive gun safety legislation, income inequality and debt free college. He says that our economy is not money, its people. It's all of our people and so we must invest in our country and the potential of our kids. .
Governor O'Malley passed gun legislation as governor of Maryland but he had a controlled legislature. He had to overcome a lot of opposition. He passed the legislation not by looking at polling or by looking at what the polls said. .
He believes that no president and no commander in chief should take the military option off the table. Though it should be the last option. He agreed that leading us into Iraq under false pretenses and telling people that there were weapons of mass destruction was one of the worst blunders in American history. When asked what was the biggest national threat he responded that Nuclear Iran is the biggest threat along with the ISIS and climate change.
