Dumplings and Wontons: Siblings or Cousins?

In addition, many of the Chinese people who immigrated during the first wave as manual laborers for the railroads and mines started to create small businesses, such as laundry, fishing, and produce businesses when they accumulated some capitals. ("Chinese Immigrant Families") Absolutely, they would put dumplings onto the menu. .
Furthermore, dumplings are easy to make and easy to store. Compared to other Chinese dishes which need to add four or five different seasonings or require a specific temperature of oil or water, dumplings only need wrappers and fillings of two or three ingredients, and only need to be boiled twice to be served. Additionally, you can just put your leftover in the refrigerator and heat it again when needed. For those who are lazy, they can make a lot of dumplings at once, froze and boil them when they want.
