Rubeola - A Virus Disease


            
             Rubeola, also known as measles, is a contagious virus disease that that lives in the nose and throat. When Rubeola is contracted it can cause a lot of sometime serious symptoms and complications that can be detrimental to a person health. This paper is being written in reference to Rubeola being a viral disease and it is going to explore the signs and symptoms and what they can do a person health. Then the paper is going to go into complications based on the severity of the complication. Then it will go into how Rubeola can be treated and what medications are beneficial to use. Finally, the paper will go into detail on how to prevent Rubeola from happening again and what tips to do when it comes to other people.

             Rubeola: A Virus Disease.
             Rubeola, another term for measles, is a highly contagious virus that lives in the nose and throat mucus of an infected person (Transmission of Measles, para 1). Measles typically can live for up to two hours in an airspace where the infected person has coughed or sneezed. Measles is considered very contagious; if other people breathe the contaminated air or tough the infected surface, then touch part of the body like, eyes, noses or mouths, they will become infected. This virus is also a disease to humans.
             Rubeola.
             Like stated before, Rubeola, also known as measles, is a very contagious disease among humans. Measles typically occurs in children under 5 and adults over the age of 20. Which is why doctors are advising their patients to get their measles shots at an early age so they will not contract this disease. When measles is contracted it can come with some serious symptoms and complications. This paper is going to explore those symptoms and complications along with how to treat measles and how to prevent the infected from getting them in the future.
