As for the headphone jack, some would assume it's Apple's inconvenient attempt to move us into a more wireless world. Buzzfeed's Manager Editor sat down with Dan Riccio, Apple's Senior VP of Hardware Engineering, and he states that:.
             "It was holding us back from a number of things we wanted to put into the iPhone," Riccio says. "It was fighting for space with camera technologies and processors and battery life. And frankly, when there's a better, modern solution available, it's crazy to keep it around." (Paczkowski 2).
             The "modern solution" he's referring to is Bluetooth headphones. While Riccio's reasoning is logical, there's a number of customers who aren't prepared to give up something so familiar. Luckily the 7 Plus comes with a lightening-to-3.5mm headphone jack adapter, as well as headphones that connect to the phones lightning port. If buyers are genuinely unable to make do without these features, Samsung has taken the liberty of including them both on their handset. After admiring these smartphones' look and feel, the next characteristics to look at are their abundance of features, but the focus will be on the more important ones. The best feature to start off with is the one used most often: the display. Supporters of Samsung declare the company as having the best technology behind the screen. The Note 7 has a 5.7-in QHD Super AMOLED display with a 2560x1440 resolution screen; whereas the 7 Plus comes with a slightly smaller 5.5-in Retina HD LCD display with a 1920x1080 resolution screen. Although it's the same resolution and size as last year's model, it is 25% brighter and more vibrant than last year's due to the new "wide color gamut", which offers an improved overall visual experience ("Samsung GalaxyTitans." 4). Embedded into the iPhones display is Apple's 3D Touch feature which offers secret menus and extra options, depending on what is being 3D Touched.
