             Advantages of Laser Printers over Inkjet Printers.
             Laser printers have advantages over the inkjet printers. Laser printers produce better quality documents than inkjets and both the machine and toner (ink cartridge) last longer than the inkjets. They have the ability of copying a bitmap image. An image represented as a two dimensional array of brightness values for pixels. They turn out more pages per month at a lower cost per page than inkjets. Another important factor to both the home and business user is the handling of envelopes, cards, and other non-regular media where laser printers have the edge over inkjets. Most Laser printers come with network connectivity ports that can be connected to a LAN. A network connecting computers, word processors and other electronic office equipment to create a communications system within homes or offices. This is an option not commonly found on inkjet printer. Laser printers have many trays to carry different paper sizes where inkjets have one or two. The advantages of laser printers are far greater then the advantages of inkjets printers.

The initial cost for a laser printer can be between $500.00 to $1000.00 for a home printers, and $1000.00 and up for an office printer.
