Juvenile Sex Offender Registration Laws of Oklahoma

The court will then appoint two qualified licensed professionals (psychologist or physician) in the treatment of sexual offenders to evaluate the juvenile and report to the court the treatment prognosis, and if the juvenile presents a serious threat to society. After careful evaluation of the prediction of the licensed professionals, the court will decide whether the juvenile presents a risk for being a serious threat to society. If the court feels the juvenile is a serious threat to society, then the court will order the juvenile to register. At that time, depending on the seriousness of the prediction, the court may use discretion to release the information to the public. .
             Duty to Register.
             Prior to adjudication, when the court orders a juvenile to be registered on the sex offender list, the court must provide, at the time the order is written, a notification of the duty to register.
