The foods we eat in this day and age contribute considerably to the vast problems of being obese. Our foods are grown at rapid rates with the use of steroids in some animals and preservatives and other various growth inducers are used in growing the vegetables we eat. These unnatural characteristics promote unhealthy calorie and fat counts in our food. With a limited amount of exercise, these fats and unused calories build up over time causing huge amounts of fatty tissue to be stored throughout the body. Over time these fatty tissues become excessive and the body cannot rid itself of them. Exercise and a healthy diet are the only solutions to this problem. There are many quick diets on the market today, but not all of them are as healthy as exercise and a balanced diet.
Being obese is a very serious problem in our society. Social factors have a serious impact on our perception of proper body weight. Factors such as gender, age, and ethnicity can have an impact on body weight. Many health related problems are linked with being obese such as heart disease, cancer, and several other related diseases. Much stress is exerted on the body from carrying the extra unnatural weight. High levels of stress too are common in obese people.
