Procrastination is defined as "To put off doing something, especially out of habitual carelessness or laziness" , or "To postpone or delay needlessly.". I wouldn't necessarily call it laziness, I would more call it a "fun developer." Procrastination is almost like an art form. Why do what you can put off doing until tomorrow? This is a good aspect to use when you are not wanting to do something that needs to be done. This is why one of the best sources to use when it comes to work is procrastination. .
The first place you can use procrastination is definitely school work. An example of this would be: having a English comp paper due, and writing it the night before. This is a great strategy, because it frees up your week until that Thursday night when you have to bear down or just blow it off. Who REALLY wants to do homework anyways? You'll find yourself constantly wanting to say "screw it" but then in the back of your mind you know this will severely hurt your grade. Ultimately it comes down to whether or not the person gives a crap. This is the never ending cycle of a procrastinator at his procrastination.
Another great place to apply procrastination is in a relationship. An example here would be, say you make a promise to your girlfriend to go shopping with her. What guy in their right mind wants to go shopping with their girlfriend? This is where our good friend procrastination comes into play. Just put off that date and until you are forced into this hideous act. You will be able to hang with the guys, watch tv, anything that is more pleasurable than standing on your feet for hours on end.
Another great senario to use our "best buddy" procrastination is in cleaning your room. You know you have to clean your room, but this just doesn't sound appealing, does it? Just wait until you are no longer able to maneuver over all the dirty clothes, dishes, and any other bio-hazards which may have taking life on your floor.
