In Dallas is where Naomi starts her chemotherapy treatment. At this point Naomi had a large tumor and ewing's sarcoma. After Naomi was finished with all of her chemotherapy treatments, she was notified that she could enter her wish in the make-a-wish foundation. Naomi wished to go to New York and walk down the runway in the latest fall fashions with her little sister, Sarah, and also to attend a broadway show. Naomi's wish was selected and she got the opportunity to go to New York with her mom, dad, and Sarah. Naomi and Sarah both got to walk down the runway at a fashion show in a restaurant modeling all the latest fashions in New York. When this trip was over, Naomi returned back to New Mexico where she was finishing her treatments and taking it day by day.
6. This book is a story of a girl named Naomi Boone. Naomi was a healthy young child, but began noticing something was wrong with her when her legs would ache horribly and soon her chest was bothering her too and she tried to keep fighting it. She was an active child in high school who ran in track and was an all a student. Naomi was strong and when she finally decided to go to the Doctor she got the Bad News. Naomi had been diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma, an aggressive bone cancer that afflicts children and teenagers, and she also had a tumor in her hip about the size of a grapefruit. Naomi immediately was prescribed medications to try and stop the cancer from spreading. Shortly, Naomi was sent to different locations to get various types of treatment. She was a very strong fighter against this horrible cancer and handled what was happening to her body very well. Sarah and The rest of her family supported her the whole way through the devastating fight of cancer. Naomi eventually was put to rest from fighting for so long against this horrible enemy that had been taking over her body for so long.
