            People in North America have been "putting on a brave face" but "deep down they [are] scared." They are scared of what the aftermath of September 11th, 2001 become. Some fears created by this tragedy such as the trauma of the children, security of air flights and war. These are the fears which North America should cope with together and there are ways of coping with them.
             Children might likely be traumatize because whether they lost a friend or family member, were evacuated from school, or just heard news coverage, many children have been touched by this tragedy. In order to help children cope with this tragedy, there are many things that parents can do to help them. Parents should reassure their children that they are safe and make sure that they have a sense of stability. Parents should talk about the tragedy in an appropriate manner. They should share feelings with their children and help them express their own feelings. Another idea for parents is that they should give their children extra attention by asking them questions on what they know about the tragedy and make them understand of what is going on. Last but not least, Parents should they give them a strong level of affection and them that you love them so that it will help them become calm. These are many ways of helping the children of North America cope with the 9/11/01 tragedy.
             War is something of which everyone fears about because many innocent people die or get very ill due to war. People lose family members and their homes. War tends to heighten feelings of vulnerability and anxiety since many people worry more about the safety of our loved ones and friends. While people react differently in uncertain situations, some reactions are common. Besides not feeling secure, people report feeling more anxious, disillusioned, concern for loved ones and powerless. There is also an increase of difficulty on making decisions and nervousness.
