Car Crash - Remembered Event

We headed to pick up the papers in Winona in my cousin Jared's Beretta that Ryan was borrowing for his truck was in the shop having repairs made to it because of some accident he had just gotten into. When we got to the Daily News, we loaded the papers as fast as we could into the car. Then we went to Kwik Trip to get some gas. Finally we made our way out of town talking, laughing, and joking the whole way. .
It was now about bar time and people were leaving the bars. The cops were also out patrolling the roads were we needed to deliver papers. This made things a little more difficult for bobbing and weaving in and out of driveways with the traffic made it difficult for us to get the paper route done in the record time Ryan wanted to achieve. Ryan being a little frustrated and just his normal insane self, decided to spice things up a little bit and went up the wrong way at an intersection we had come to. There were cops not even a block a way from us when he pulled this move. I freaked out! I through my set belt on and I started yelling and screaming at him. "You are so immature! Are you trying to get us pulled over?" He reassured me that we were not going to get pulled over and that everything as going to be just fine, all I needed to do was just settle down. This sparked a very interesting conversation about his driving habits, which were just terrible.
As we continued down the road delivering paper after paper, our conversation got a little deeper. "I have never gotten into an accident were I have been driving were someone has gotten hurt." Ryan proclaimed. It seemed just as the words left his mouth, I looked up and saw weeds rushing up towards the car. I tried bracing myself with one hand on the center console and the other with the handle on the door as the car tires went screeching across the blacktop. The car hit the embankment; Ryan came flying across the car from the driver's seat to the passenger side, pile-driving me into the door.
