Why did Roosevelt win the 1932 election

Why did Roosevelt win the 1932 election?.
One reason why Roosevelt won the election of 1932 was that from 1929, people blamed Hoover for their sufferings because there was unemployment in Cleeveland, 50% and in Toledo, 80%. Banks started to go bankrupt and people lost all their savings. People became poor so they could not afford to live in mansions or big houses any more, they lived in Hoovervilles. Farmers were also forced off the land, they could not pat their mortgages off. So sheriffs came to take their property, and farmers to keep the sheriffs from not taking their land, was that they had pitch forks and hangman's nooses. Most farmers, lived in their trucks on the road because they had no choice to. People lived in Hoovervilles named after Hoover because they blame Hoover for living in these conditions and it is his fault for everything which had happened to them. Hoover was booed at cinemas and his name was written in toilets because people hated Hoover of what happened to their country and economy. So therefore people wanted Roosevelt as president.
The second and third reason why Roosevelt won the election was of the Republican policies and actions taken by Republicans. They thought that it was the economic problems of Europe that caused the Depression, and also they thought that they should of have left business alone. Hoover blocked the Garner-Wagner Relief Bill which would of have provided $2.1 billion to create jobs. Republican policies blamed Europeans economire problems and not the weaknesses in the USA for the Depression because Europe would not import any of their goods, since they could not afford to. Also, they thought that they should of have left business alone to bring back prosperity but that made it even more worse for leaving things that long because it was just getting worse and it looked like Hoover didn't care of what was happening and didn't help. When Hoover blocked the Garner-Wagner Relief Bill that was another big mistake because he denied on taking the money, because he thought that social security wasn't responsible of the government.
