Seven Years in TIbet movie review

Seven Years in Tibet is about a mountain clamber, Henry who is determined to climb the Himalayan Mountain. When he is leaving for the climb he kisses his nine-month pregnant wife goodbye and tells her she will see him in four months. His wife is obviously very upset about his leave and resents him for leaving her right when the baby is due. On his way up the traitress mountain he hurts his leg and the injury almost cost another climber life. The winds on the mountain were very dangerous and there were many avalanches so the climbers had no choice but to turn around. While climbing back down the mountain, they are arrested and held at a camp; they are prisoners at war. Henry writes his wife one years later to tell her he is in a prison. She writes him back and tells him to sign the divorce paper. His wife met someone else and she is going to tell his son he was lost in the Himalayan's. Henry becomes so upset he is determined to free himself from the prison. He attempts several time but is not successful. Henry finally agrees to join the others and try to become free from being a prisoner. I don't want to spoil the movie for you just in case you have not seen it. .
I think Seven Years in Tibet is an excellent movie. If you are interested in other cultures and how they live you should defiantly watch this movie. Henry's way of looking at things and dealing with issues are also very unusual and he makes you look at it from a different prospective. .
