STUPID, That is the only word I can think of that could describe this story. Not only do I feel that this book was a waste of my time it made little sense in the matter it was written. I will be explaining to you in this essay, a brief overview of the story and also two parts of the story I felt where completely unbelievable. .

This story takes place in the time of the Salem witch trials in 1692. I feel that this story is mainly a story of good vs. evil of Abigail Williams, when she and John Proctor have an affair. Where she is convinced every one in the town that god has given her the ability to see the people with "The Devil". Sense no body in the town has any way to prove them selves not guilty they are doomed to either say they are a witch or be hung. Abigail felt that if she got Elizabeth Proctor, John's wife out of the way there would be no body to get into her way of the love between her and john. Where the truth is John really did not care about Abigail he loved Elizabeth. .
A major part of this story that I felt made no sense in is the accusing of witchcraft under no exact pretences. It's really unbelievable when people start to accuse each other of being witches because when they have no evidence of being witches. I find it almost just as unbelievable when the people do not start to question the reliability of the truth of the accuser and what they are saying. When Sarah Good was accused of murdering Goody Putnam's babies there was no evidence just the fact that Sarah was around when it happened.
Another part of the story in the book was I didn't like was the fact that they really couldn't show the expressions on people's faces. You really can't explain person's facial features when they are accused of being a witch. Not only that but how cans you show somebody accusing somebody of being a witch and not see that they are lying. .
My views on this story haven't changed since the beginning of reading it; it's unbelievable that somebody would actually consider hanging another person just under the fact that another person says he or she is a witch.
