Dating and sports

Many things in life can be considered a game. Whether it is an actual sporting event such as baseball or basketball, or a life activity that is as complex as the dating process. These are two things in life that are both very similar but have their differences at the same time. .
When people date they don't exactly think of it at the time, but later on they can learn that the act of dating can be related to sports. In almost any sport, a team works hard all season to make the playoffs, as people work hard to look good or act a certain way to get to that point of their life when they are asked to go on dates. .
Sport terminology can in many ways be interrelated with the actions that develop out of dating. Many times in life people get the point where they for some reason have become frustrated with the opposite sex and a sacrifice of some sort is needed. Even though this sacrifice means taking one for the team, it makes the difference of getting back into the game or watching from the sidelines. This can be seen in baseball when a pinch hitter will be put to bat just to step into a pitch and get on base for the team. In the dating game, people lower their standards and may do something or someone they will regret just to get back into the next inning of dating. .
When people enjoy being with the person to whom they are dating they, they tend to make a consistent effort to stay with them and keep the game going. This can be seen as a late fourth quarter drive down the field in a football game. It's fourth and one, what do you do? Do you punt away your dream and possibly never have the ball (a.k.a. female) come back to you, do you attempt a difficult long range field goal, or do you throw up the hail mary in hopes of "scoring" that game winning touchdown? In relation to dating, at the end of a night do you punt and pass up the opportunity of a second date, do you go for the field goal and bow out gracefully or do you go for the touchdown, throw out that hail mary and wish for a dream of breakfast the next morning together? .
