Things that have happened in the past can be considered human history. Mainly important things that have influenced our lives in some way. Human history helps us understand why some things are the way they are. It can be so many different things, not just events but developments. Human/World History has a way of teaching us the past mistakes and noble acts of famous individuals and countries. History has a way of repeating itself, and that makes it a valuable asset in learning social behavior of the modern world. There were so many things that happened before 2,500 B.C. The most important developments were hominids walking up right, because people could travel greater distances, carry food, and children. The second would be opposable thumbs. Without thumbs humans wouldn't be able to do things such as writing and picking up objects. Third would be the development of spoken languages. At this point it made it a lot easier to plan hunts. Next would have to be fire, it has kept people warm, scared animals away, and helped with cooking food. Chopping tools would have to be fifth it was an important development it helped to expand what they ate, because they could chop animals and plants up. Tools would fall sixth because they would use them to sharpen rocks and to hunt with. Seventh would be growing crops it made it so they could create more food for specific amounts of people. Next would be raising animals which made it easier to get meat, compared to the normal hunt of that time. Ninth would be pottery it isn't as important as crops but it has become something people don't go a normal day without using some form of pottery. Last in my view would be religious beliefs because religion has made a great impact on all societies, but it isn't a necessary part of life.
That makes up my chosen top ten events and developments. All of these things have affected modern day society and are an important part of our human history.
