A sociological and psychological view of serial killers

Gacy (the serial rapist murderer who ended up raping and murdering young men, most of whom worked for him. He called them good for nothing queers), as a young child strived to gain the attention and a closeness with his father whom he loved, Gacy Sr. Gacy Sr. was a horrible example of a father. He drank and verbally and physically abused Gacy. He called him a queer and a momma's boy but Gacy still really loved him and wanted his attention. Gacy Sr. died before Gacy was able to become close with him and many believe that is what caused Him to kill the 30 sum young men and hide them under his houses floorboards. Another example of how a traumatic childhood or adolescence can lead to becoming a serial killer is Mr. Ted Bundy. He was a triple threat. He was handsome educated and a serial killer. Ted had grown up with a family full of women; he never knew his father and people described him as being a lonely introverted child. His first girlfriend and first love Stephanie Brooks had a major impact on his life. He loved her a lot however after dating for a while she dumped him because he seemed to have no real goals for live and he tried to convince her he did with lies which she didn't like. Anyways Stephanie moved to California. Ted never got over that and he went around the United States enticing college women by various practices such as the famous "broken leg" where he would ask for their help abduct them rape them and kill them. The reason it is quite evident that the episode or ordeal with Stephanie lead to this is the simple fact that all the women he killed, well, they looked like Stephanie. They all were college age and had long brown hair parted in the middle and where in the high-middle class. Some believe in his mind he was killing Stephanie over and over again in his mind. So the basic sociology theory is that serial killers where not born with serial killer genes they are people some of which psychotic (crazy) and most of which psychopaths.
