Guncontrol

Firearms have been around since long before the forming of Americans culture, after the early settlers began adapting in what is now know as the United States. Owning a gun easily became a custom for they were in high demand for uses like hunting, protection from theft crime and invasions. Nowadays, hunting is a sport and guns are more likely used to give gun owners a psychological feeling of safety rather than to actually use them. Anyhow, guns have become an important part of our culture and by banning firearms the United States will suffer great cultural disadvantages that will overwhelm the insignificance of advantages. Although I do believe gun registration is harmless to our society and our rights, I strongly disagree the complete banning of firearms will solve our crime problems but I do believe it will harm American culture. .
Even though gun registration might not be effective, I don't have any problem with it. There are many people who believe gun registration will lower crime, but whether this works or not is the question. The gun law supporters believe gun registration will work but it's more of a psychological thing and it just looks like something is being done about the crime in America. I really don't believe it will be too beneficial in our society. People who feel they need a firearms are going to have one even if they are not allowed to buy one because of a bad record. It is like prohibition early in the 1900's, the citizens still drinked alcohol, although they were not supposed have it. Registration won't ban guns or hurt Americans high demand. Citizens will still have the ability to own guns for protection and it does not violate the second amendment. Gun registration might make the "well" in "a well regulated militia"(T&C 242) in the second amendment acceptable and reinforce our right to bear arms.
The second Amendment does gives us the right to bear arms as long as we continue to be a well regulated militia.
