Iran Contra

AAmericans will never make concessions to terrorist, To do so would only invite more terrorism- once we head down that path there would be no end to it, no end to the suffering of innocent people, no end to the bloody ransom all civilized people must pay.@.
Ronald Reagan, June 18, 1985. (Truth is Stranger.).
The Reagan Administration supposedly promised this to their American citizens. Along with many other Western countries on terrorism acts. Though our own government went behind our backs to develop a secret deal, the selling of arms for hostages can be justified. Though using that money to contribute to hundreds of thousands of deaths is morally wrong. For all the administrators that helped contribute to this horrible affair one distinct person is repeatedly overlooked. The one who repeatedly preached AI was out of the loop.@ (New Yorker.).
Vice President George Bush was in fact one of the key parts in this scandal. I hope to prove the falsehood of Bush=s Adeniability.@ .
             .
Bush did proceed to be a quiet source in this tragic scandal. He was secretly known for laundering most of the money from small private bank accounts to the Contras. CIA Director William Casey approached the Vice President with a name of a vulnerable depository, Banco Nacional de Panama. Bush then arranged for an $8 billion short term loan. He routed $4 billion to Iran to purchase super bills, and $4 billion to Nana Debusia to be laundered in several small private accounts. Oliver North was then advised by Bush to oversee the Iran connection. Iran gave North $8 billion in super bills for $4 billion in good U.S. currency. The $8 billion in super bills was then delivered to Banco Nacional de Panama. Here is a breakdown of the transactions: .
! $8 billion in super bills being held in Banco Nacional de Panama.
! $4 billion in good U.S. currency in Iran.
! $4 billion in U.S. currency at the hands of CIA launderer Nana Debusia.
So in turn North sold the Iranians weapons for the amount of $4 billion and divided a portion of that money to the Contras in Nicaragua.
