            Heresy in the Church is a problem the Clergy of any religion must face. Heresy in the Catholic Church used to be a subject no one wanted to touch, because of the consequences and repercussions one faced for turning to heresy, now - a - days, heresy, is just a word in the vocabulary often turned away from in the Catholic Church. .
             This article is addressed to those of the Catholic Church and followers of the Catholic Religion, who are searching for a closer and clearer, understand of the Catholic faith, and its principles. To the writers of recent theological writings, for them to see what they concluded about the Church is not always right. .
             The author's thesis is that of, "Heresy as a serious sin seems no longer a concern to many Catholic theologians. In fact, a large number seem to believe that such a sin is psychologically impossible. Such an attitude directly contradicts the entire Christian tradition as witnessed by Sacred Scripture, the Father, and the Magisterium of the Church."" He raises the question "How are sins against the virtue of faith' psychologically possible? Under this heading we shall include the traditional categories of heresy, apostasy, and infidelity, but without being especially concerned with the distinctions - rather unrealistically precise at times, one suspects - which theologians have elaborated between them."".
             His thesis is bought on by the simple fact that heresy is a topic the Church tends to "turn the other cheek on- and pretend that everyone is following their ways. He develops this theory in the several statements made through-out this article. He capitalizes on the interior motives of the Church and their beliefs; he intends to prove that the church neglects the "darker side of the coin-. He doesn't by any means what to approve heresy and its counterparts, but merely to prove the Church now tends to over looks this problem. .
             In the old times the Church would seek out those who have turned against them and excommunicate them from the rest of the followers.
