Genetics & Molecular Biology

The phenotype of an individual may even reflect their experience in life. Or it may reflect the parent's experience e.g. if they were of different races. .
This is why I personally feel parental human emotions are affected more by the phenotype of their child than the genotype. It is the child's phenotype, which will determine how they are treated in life and how they are thought of, consciously or subconsciously, as superficial as that may sound.
The process of meiosis has many stages, all of which are complicated, and the final outcome can depend on any one of these stages. Even this isn't the final outcome of a person's genetic make-up, which relies on two gametes formed by meiosis in two individuals. One of the earliest stages of meiosis, metaphase, involves a delicate process and being at such an early stage has the largest effect on the genetic make up of the would-be individual. The arrangement of chromosomes at this stage will be totally by chance with an equal probability of each arrangement. As these different arrangements are processed further, distinct variations and even more possible chromosomal arrangements occur. .
Thus the many individuals of a species are as varied as could be. Some could have exceptionally good skills and others not so, causing the process of survival of the fittest, Natural Selection, which ensures genetic fitness of species. While this is true of the animal kingdom where all animals try to survive, Homo sapiens are, in my view, are in a slightly different situation. While we are varied with varying skills, we all have extreme intelligence in comparison to other species. So generally the only competition we have is ourselves. However for Natural Selection to work only the fittest should be able to survive. Our intelligence and ability to work together means, very generally speaking, we are not selectively vulnerable to anyone, due to our, generally, peaceful nature.
