Even on the traditional party nights of Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 66% of the students returned home with absolutely no blood alcohol content; two of every three students had not a trace of alcohol in their systems at the end of the party nights. When you"re eighteen you've entered that age of freedom, therefore you should be treated free and allowed to do what you want including drinking alcohol. At eighteen you"re allowed to vote and decide this nations future. An adult at the age of eighteen should be allowed to consume alcohol beverages; by the time your eighteen you should be able to make mature decisions, you are no longer considered a minor, and if your allowed to vote and purchase tobacco products then drinking should be legal.

             As you turn eighteen, you are no longer a minor, you are aloud to be in a jury and make a decision there, and you could also die for your country but yet not aloud to drink. You could vote for our next president, you pay taxes for America. If you can do all this and not still be able to drink it doesn't make sense. .
             Lowering the age could have some affects also. There would be more drinking in high schools, since seniors could supply alcohol. Also, it could be that there's more drinking underage because its illegal so kids like the fact that they"re doing something illegal.
