My adventure at camp snoopy

On April of 2002 our school took us on a field trip that lasted three day at the Mall of America. My friends Crystal and Maria who have been my friends since middle school were there too. From Covert, Michigan we rode a school bus all the way to Bloomington, Minnesota. Once we got there, after an eight hour trip, we settled our stuff in at the Days Inn that was located right in front of The Mall of America. After that we crossed the road with one of our teachers and started our adventure of discovering what the mall had to offer and what made it so popular. When I entered the mall the first thing that caught my eye was Camp Snoopy. From then on my whole day was devoted to enjoying the camp's rides and attractions.
The first ride that I got on to was called, "The Mighty Axe." This was the largest and scariest looking ride at the theme park. That is why my friends and I decided to get on this ride first. This ride is about ten stories high and could hold about 40 or more passengers on its platform. Once on the ride, the platform full of people goes up in the air almost touching the ceiling and then spins in 360 degree arcs. The total time of the ride was about three minutes. Imagine being high in the air going in circles upside down and having nothing but a bar across your chest to hold you in for three minutes at a time that seems to last forever. My butt was literally off the seat and I could feel my pulse in my throat. I remember looking down at the people under me and hoping that if the ride were to break, hopefully the crowd would make my landing softer. I was terrified of falling and that's why I only rode this ride once.
The next ride that I got on was called the "Log Chute." I chose to get on this ride because it seemed calmer and I was trying to get over the rush that I got at the Mighty Axe. After waiting in line for almost twenty-five minutes, I was finally instructed to get in a hollowed-out log.
