Lance Armstrong- It's not about the bike

When he got to the third and fourth cycles all he did was eat sleep and throw up. He had no energy and barely enough energy to talk. After he was done with chemo, the doctors started to see Lance get better. Lance was finally starting to beat the cancer. .
             The doctors saw no signs of cancer after the chemo treatments. They told Lance and he was thrilled to hear the good news. They told him if the cancer doesn't come back within a year that would mean he was cured. Lance went a year without a sign of cancer and celebrated his one-year anniversary of being diagnosed with cancer.
             After Lance was cured from cancer he started training on his bike again. It was like starting all over again because the chemo treatments drained all his energy. Nobody thought Lance would get back on his bike after being diagnosed with cancer. Lance entered a race in France and the weather was horrible, Lance hated racing in bad weather. It was raining and the wind was blowing really hard. Lance raced about half of the race until he couldn't take it anymore. He quit the race. Lance thought he didn't have "it" anymore and said he would never get on a bike again. He went to a press conference and told everyone he was done with cycling. Later, one of his buddies tried to tell him not to quit and told him that he still had a chance to come back because nobody in the states saw the press conference.
             Lance thought about it a lot and finally got back on his bike and trained harder than ever before. There was a United Sates championship coming up soon and he wanted to race in it. He placed 4th in the championship. He kept training harder and harder, then he felt better then he ever did in his whole career. Somebody mentioned the Tour de France to him and he thought about it. Later, he announced he was racing the Tour de France. He trained more and more for the biggest race in his life. He entered the race and raced better than he ever did, winning stages left and right.
