This is a proposal for upgrades on our network that are needed. This proposal will cover different network access control mechanisms and other changes that are needed. The first piece of equipment we need is a Cisco 2900 series catalyst switch that has multi VLAN capability. These switches will replace all hubs in our network. These switches will reduce traffic, increase speed across the network, and add security by controlling which ports people can access. We will need two 48 port switches to accommodate the number of computers on the network. The total price of these 2 switches is $8699.08, leaving us with $41300.92 in the budget for our network. .

My next request is for a Sonicwall Pro 3060 Internet security appliance. This product is a complex firewall and security device. It provides hardware fail-over, WAN ISP fail-over and an automated secondary VPN gateway, ensuring continuous network uptime. It also can be used as a NAT device and provides encryption. Price for this product is $2943.05. Leaving $38357.87.
The next product is used in partnership will the Sonicwall Pro 3060. The SonicWALL Network Anti-Virus 100-user subscription is a 2 year license that will protect our network from many things. This is self updating software that stays up to date on every computer on the network. Virus protection is ensured on every windows computer because if it is uninstalled, the next time someone tries to access the internet it will make the user reinstall before connecting back to the internet. This software also filters emails for viruses and Trojan horses. The price of this license for 2 years is $5098.00. Leaving $33259.87.
The most expensive, but most important service I am asking for is the SonicWALL Vulnerability Scanning Service. This will provide 1 scan a month for 8 years on all computers on the network that have I.P. addresses. It provides a hacker's eye view of a network perimeter, including public servers, routers and gateways, and remote ends of VPN connections.
