I think this was a great and interesting book. It was a little slow at the start and confusing because it kept skipping from the present to the past, but it gets better. As I read this book, it made me think how hard it could really be for some of those kids. This would be a great book for all ages. Holes has lots of exciting parts, and the characters are even interesting and are all original. The book goes back in time a lot and gets confusing, but it all makes sense at the end.
