When his words reached King George III of England he exclaimed, "If true, then he is the greatest man in the world."" Plus he believed no president should serve more than two terms. In 1796, Washington presented his farewell address. Many people made strong efforts to persuade him to a third term yet were eventually refused. This also showed his understanding of real democracy.

(Probably the civilization and establishment he later built were based on the ideal society in his mind) "and plain brilliant, a military genius with cunning military leadership. He always took good advantages of his enemies' weaknesses and was a man of strategy. For example, knowing that British seamen are well skilled, Napoleon came up with the plan of the Continental System to cripple Britain, that was to boycott British goods (although it failed at last due to Russia's rejection).
Before transferring to a royal military in Paris, Napoleon studies Brienne. He enjoyed the latter better because the discipline was stern and punishments harsh, which were the way he thought a soldier should be treated. This proved his quality to be a military man and his tough character, which later helped him to overcome all of the criticism he received about his poverty and size, and became one of the most powerful leaders of all time.
Just after Napoleon graduated, his father got really sick with cancer and died before long. During this crucial time, Napoleon's brothers Joseph and Lucien were leaving for the army, and his sister Eliza accepted a school which was created for daughters of aristocracy. The rest of Napoleon's family were the youngest, left under the care of his widowed mother. But good that Napoleon did not leave his family in their present condition.
