Watersports

Water-sport consists of a few categories. Some of these categories are kneeboarding, tubing, slalom skiing and the pencil otherwise known as the "snake-. Water-sport is a lot of fun.
Before I begin to tell you about the types of water-sport, I need to list the basics on what's needed for water-sport. The very first necessity is a boat. There are 2 types of boats. The 1 type of boat is called a speedboat. This boat is made up of fiberglass, a couple of seats, a steering wheel, a windscreen, a throttle and an engine. The next type of boat is called a rubber-dingy. This boat is made up of fiberglass on the bottom and a hard kind of rubber with a hollow inside, which is filled with air, around it to keep it afloat. At the back of the rubber dingy there is an engine. The 2nd requirement is a rope which is needed for all types of water-sport.
I would now like to describe some of the types of water sport. The first thing is slalom/single skiing. This is when a single person ski's on a single ski. On the ski there are 2 places for one's feet. The front foot is for the direction, and the back foot is for strength. Once a person has the ski on and the rope in his hand he is ready to go. The driver lines him up with the boat and when the skier gives the signal, the driver puts the boat at full speed from idling to pick the skier up. Once he is up, he can go from side to side by looking where he wants to go and turning the ski rope into that direction. More advanced skiers can make a water-wall on their turn. This is made up of the sudden cut into the water causing a spray into the opposite direction to where one is going. When one turns he/she should put there butt in, lean back, bend there knee's and turn into the turn.
The next activity is kneeboarding. This is a board which one kneels on and it has a strap to go over one's knees. On a kneeboard one can do several tricks. These include doing a 360 spin, jumping the wakes and putting the board at a 50 angle to the surface.
