How to Be a Follower of Yevon

The wise Grand Maester Mika once said that Yevon is embodied by eternal, unchanging continuity. This makes perfect sense considering that: men die, beasts die, trees die, even continents perish, and that only the power of death truly commands. Though there is nothing futile about the life and death of a summoner, it is also never ending. No matter how many Summoners give their lives; Sin can never be truly defeated. Yet the courage of those who fight gives the people hope.
The reasons that people follow Yevon are varied: The wisdom that the teachings hold is what draws most people to Yevon, though some people enjoy the sense of foundation, and solid philosophy it brings, some just think it's cool. Look deep down into the deepest recesses of your sub-conscious, it's there that everyone has the instinctive need to profess the teachings of Yevon, and bring everyone closer to the truth in Yevon's name. So let's begin.
For alot of people who are ignorant of the lawful and harmonious life of a follower of Yevon, some things I suspect must be explained. A follower of Yevon is a pious person who follows the strict life-guidelines set forth by Yevon, and sometimes vainly, but always with renewed continence attempts to convert the heathen masses to Yevon's holy light. We"ll take a look at one particular follower of Yevon, High Summoner Yuna, and follow her through the steps of defeating Sin for good, and bringing about the Eternal Calm. Yuna's father was the late High Summoner Braska. After his death she grew up in the island of Besaid, where it was discovered that she possessed the gift of Summoning.
According to the High Summoner, the first step to becoming a follower is to find ot hers like yourself, people who are looking for Yevon's supreme truth, and will go to any means to find it. Family, and friends are always a good starting point, and from there it's only a matter of sifting out the simple minded from the people ready to receive Yevon's divine guidance.
