They were saluted by several crew members who always greeted them with a smile and took the time to engage in short conversations. They saw the pool on the upper deck and decided they would start their relaxing day there. Off the pool was a small fitness center, featuring a variety of equipment. There was also a beauty salon and spa with a sauna and massage facililities. Off to the other side of the pool there is a small bar that you could order drinks or snacks from and shuffleboard. Tonight was the ballroom night that was preceded by a fancy dinner. The dinner started with a shrimp cocktail appetizer and a smooth creamy cheese soup. Then they had a salad fit for a queen with iceberg lettuce, crabmeat, croutons, fresh green and red peppers, and red beef tomatoes sprinkled with toasted sesame. The bread was so warm and soft that it melted in your mouth. Then there were tender pillows of egg pasta filled with ricotta cheese and topped with marinara sauce. But the main entree was a mouth watering filet mignon with a tender broiled lobster tail served with melted butter.
