Maturity and Responsibilty

Scientifically speaking, maturity is the stage of full-grown development. It is usually measured regarding age and physique. However, maturity for human beings must reflect not only on the biological concept of the word but also on the ability of an individual to take responsibility for one's actions. This responsibility comes with wisdom, awareness of conduct and the capacity to anticipate the consequences of his decisions in life. .
Wisdom distinguishes a mature man from what is right or wrong. In this way, he recognizes the truth from a lie and is capable of weighing what is righteous not only for one's sake but also for the benefit of the rest. The interest of others is taken into consideration, thus not only his personal selfish desires. .
As a mature being learns to know what is good from bad, he then understands the value of wisdom by being aware of his conduct. He applies what he knows and understands, by what is appropriate within his responsibility. It is like identifying what should be done ethically with various people at certain places. Take, for instance, a college student who is mature enough in taking the responsibility of every action he does while in a university. Knowing what is good from evil, he now does things according to his task as a level-minded, mature and educated student in campus who is united with the student body that possesses a diverse culture. He is flexible with the environment but cautious with his limits. .
There is a big decision to make on whether to give up or hold on to your career, which is against the interest of your family." With this scenario, a mature man critically considers the two sides of the problem. What is yet to come after choosing between holding on or giving up the career is how a mature man anticipates the consequences of his decision. He is open to possibilities yet places basis on what is suitable and good for the welfare of the whole family.
